About

Ghar ka khana, har din.

Maa Se exists because two things are true in Bengaluru at once: there are thousands of working people who miss the taste of a home-cooked meal, and there are home-making mothers in every neighbourhood whose cooking no one outside their family has ever tasted.

We connect them directly. No restaurant aggregator, no dark kitchen, no industrial scale. Just a small group of mothers cooking from their own homes, one cuisine each, with fresh ingredients every morning. Lunch goes out the same day it's cooked.

How it works

Subscribe to a weekly or monthly plan in your preferred cuisine. Each weekday between 12:30 and 1:30 PM, your tiffin arrives at your office in Bengaluru. No weekends — the mothers who cook for us take Saturday and Sunday off, because they should.

Our cuisines

We currently serve Bihari, Odia, and South Indian lunches. Each menu is designed around one mother's repertoire, with regional specialties woven through the week so the food stays interesting without becoming a novelty.

Our values

We pay our mothers fairly — meaningfully more than the per-meal margin they would see through a restaurant contract. We cap their workload at a number they can sustain without resentment. We don't scale by finding more industrial kitchens; we scale by finding more mothers who want to cook, and keeping the circle small enough that every customer knows whose hands made their food.

Where we deliver

Bengaluru only, currently focused on office deliveries in the Marathahalli / Whitefield corridor and nearby tech parks. Home deliveries are rolling out neighbourhood by neighbourhood — check our signup form for the current list.
